Take painkillers
Paracetamol help to relieve pain. Anti-inflammatory drugs can also be used. You can take one of the two drugs or both if the pain is difficult to control.

When sciatica pain subsides progressively start doing physical exercise (such as walking), depending on your tolerance level. Exercise helps to prevent or eliminate the pain faster. Ask your doctor to suggest a series of exercises.
Prevent overly physical effort
If you do not want to have herniated disk, avoid physical efforts for which you are not trained.
