Home remedies to relieve sciatica nerve pain
Sciatica is the pain caused by irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve. It usually affects only part of the body, but tends to be severe and debilitating.
The pain usually extends from the lower back to the back of the thigh and downwards through the leg.
It may be accompanied by symptoms such as burning or tingling in the leg, throbbing pain that causes difficulty standing or sitting, numbness and weakness in the affected leg and even the toes.
Sciatica is most often caused by a herniated disc or slipped. It can also be caused by problems such as spinal cord injury or infection, degenerative disc disease, pregnancy, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis and Isthmian piriform syndrome.
Although there are many conventional treatments for sciatica, which can temporarily relieve pain. In addition, most injections of steroids can cause serious side effects.

1. turmeric

5 valerian
Valerian root works as a relaxant and relieves chronic neuropathic pain. It is particularly good for relieving sciatica pain caused by muscle spasms.
The herb contains volatile oils that help relax the muscles and relieve tension. It is popularly used as a sleep aid as well.
Take 150 mg valerian root supplement 3 times a day for a few weeks. Consult your doctor.
You can also drink valerian tea prepared by macerating 1 teaspoon of dried valerian root in 1 cup of warm water for 10 minutes. Drink this herbal tea several times a week for a few weeks.
6 Cayenne pepper
Cayenne pepper contains an active ingredient called capsaicin that acts as a natural analgesic. It helps exhaust levels of a neurotransmitter called P substance, which carries pain signals.
Purchase a cream or ointment containing 0.025% to 0.075% capsaicin.
Apply on the affected up to 4 times a day, at least 1 week area.
Note: Capsaicin cream or ointment may cause a burning sensation initially. Do not apply to broken skin.
7. Spinal manipulation
Chiropractic care is an increasingly popular natural treatment for cervical and back pain. Spinal chiropractic manipulation includes various techniques involving short rapid flare-ups to relieve nervous irritability responsible for inflammation and other symptoms associated with sciatica.
